1500 Guadalupe

Occurred on 12-14-04 at 1:55 a.m.

Public Intoxication: A UT student was found stumbling in the roadway while yelling. The student was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.

Beauford H. Jester Center East, 203 East 21st Street

Occurred on 12-13-04 at 8:06 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: The glass pane covering a 4th floor reading board was broken by an unidentified subject who appeared intoxicated. The subject was described as a white male, 5'10" to 6' tall, 250 pounds and wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a multi-colored beanie. Replacement cost: $100.00.

Beauford H. Jester Center East, 203 East 21st Street

Occurred on 12-12-04 at 4:02 a.m.

Aggravated Assault: A UT student, who was sitting in his parked Ford F-150 pick-up truck while on the north side of the building, heard a loud sound just prior to the driver's side window breaking out of the vehicle. The student received scratches on the left side of his face from glass debris. Witnesses reported seeing a compact size vehicle leaving the area at a rapid speed.

Occurred between 12-9-04 at 10:30 p.m. and 12-13-04 at 5:45 p.m.

Theft: Various items of clothing were stolen from three washing machines located inside a 3rd floor laundry room. Loss value: $500.00.

Occurred between 12-3-04 at 2:00 p.m. and 12-13-04 at 2:00 p.m.

Theft: A red, black and yellow Proflex 21-speed bicycle was stolen while it was secured with a cable lock to a bicycle rack located on the southwest side of the building. Loss value: $100.00.

Peter T. Flawn Academic Center, #2 West Mall

Occurred on 12-14-04 at 12:30 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping in a basement level area that is reserved for faculty, staff and students. The subject had previously been issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Peter T. Flawn Academic Center, #2 West Mall

Occurred on 12-13-04 at 10:13 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was reported sleeping on a couch located in a 2nd floor area that was reserved for faculty, staff and students. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Physical Plant #5, 1600 Manor Road

Occurred between 12-10-04 at 4:30 p.m. and 12-13-04 at 8:00 a.m.

Graffiti: Black paint was used to write an illegible word on the left side of a box delivery truck that was parked outside of the building. Removal cost: $100.00.

2000 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 12-13-04 at 9:05 p.m.

Driving While Intoxicated / Driving While License Suspended: A non-UT subject was stopped for several traffic violations while driving a 1988 Ford F-150 pick-up truck. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was driving while intoxicated. The subject's driver's license had already been suspended for prior charges of driving while intoxicated.

Walter Webb Hall, 2500 Guadalupe

Occurred between 12-10-04 at 5:00 p.m. and 12-13-04 at 7:30 a.m.

Theft: A 5" round brass doorknob and a brass fire standpipe cover were stolen from the south exterior of the building. Loss value: $90.00.

Occurred at various times.

Noncriminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, UTPD responded to 14 alarm calls, 9 unsecured door reports, 2 public assist calls, and 1 collision report between 12-13-04 and 12-14-04.
