Occurred on 1-26-05 at 2:30 a.m.
Driving While Intoxicated: A UT student was stopped after disregarding two stop signs and speeding (50 MPH in a 15 MPH zone) while driving a silver 2004 Honda 4-door. The student was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point she was driving while intoxicated.
George I. Sánchez Building, 1912 Speedway
Occurred between 1-24-05 at 3:30 p.m. and 1-25-05 at 7:30 a.m.
Burglary: A Hewlett-Packard Compaq Tablet laptop computer was stolen from a secured 3rd floor storage room. Loss value: $1,625.00.
Trinity Garage, 1815 Trinity
Occurred on 1-25-05 at 7:10 p.m.
Criminal Trespass: Two non-UT subjects were found near the 4th level exit attempting to buy and sell tickets to a sporting event in violation of UT Regents' Rules and Regulations regarding solicitation. Both subjects were issued a written criminal trespass warning.
Walter Webb Hall, 2500 Guadalupe
Occurred between 1-25-05 at 11:35 p.m. and 1-26-05 at 2:20 a.m.
Theft: A 6" by 12" copper letter was stolen from the south exterior wall of the building. Loss value: $50.00.
Occurred at various times.
Noncriminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, UTPD responded to 14 alarm calls, 2 unsecured door reports, 2 collision reports, 2 medical emergency calls and 2 suspicious activity reports between 1-25-05 and 1-26-05.
