McCombs School of Business, 2110 Speedway
Occurred on 1-21-05 between 1:05 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Theft: A Dell C610 laptop computer and a Proxima Ultraviolet 350 LCD projector were stolen from an unsecured 4th floor classroom after the equipment was left in the room for a presentation later in the day. Loss value: $2,200.
Peter T. Flawn Academic Center, #2 West Mall
Occurred on 1-27-05 between 3:50 p.m. and 4:20 p.m.
Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was reported as repeatedly raising his voice while violating UT Regents' Rules and Regulations concerning solicitation by asking students for money inside a 1st floor computer room. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
Robert Lee Moore Hall, 2515 Speedway
Occurred on 1-26-05 between 11:00 a.m. and 12 Noon.
Theft: A textbook was stolen after it was left in an unsecured 7th floor women's restroom. Loss value: $75.00.
San Jacinto Residence Hall, 309 East 21st Street
Occurred on 1-28-05 at 3:40 a.m.
Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor (2 Counts): Two UT students, both of whom were under the age of 21, were found engaging in "horseplay" that simulated a fight. Both subjects were found to have consumed alcoholic beverages.
Union Building, #4 West Mall
Occurred on 1-27-05 between 10:20 p.m. and 10:50 p.m.
Theft: A dark brown leather Nautica wallet containing $10.00 cash and various credit and identification cards, including the owner's social security card, was stolen after the owner left the wallet on a video game located inside a 1st floor game room. Loss value: $25.00.
Occurred at various times.
Noncriminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, UTPD responded to 8 alarm calls, 1 collision report, 3 public assist calls and 2 suspicious activity reports between 1-27-05 and 1-28-05.
