Occurred on 2-18-05 at 12:55 a.m.
Public Intoxication: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was found staggering in the 3rd floor lobby. The student was unaware of his location and had difficulty answering questions. The student was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.
Parking Lot 80, 1900 Red River
Occurred on 2-17-05 between 6:00 p.m. and 6:40 p.m.
Theft: A green 1993 Honda Accord 4-door was stolen while it was secured and parked in the lot. Loss value: $1700.00.
2500 San Jacinto Blvd.
Occurred on 2-18-05 at 3:05 a.m.
Public Intoxication: A UT student was found "tripping over his feet" while swaying left and right as he walked beside the roadway. The student was not aware of what day it was as he stated he believed it was Tuesday. The student was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.
University Teaching Center, 105 West 21st Street
Occurred on 2-17-05 between 12:35 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Theft: A black Targus laptop computer bag containing an IBM T-42 laptop computer with a 14" monitor was stolen when it was left on a shelf inside a 4th floor men's restroom. Loss value: $1,815.00.
Occurred at various times.
Noncriminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, UTPD responded to 9 alarm calls, 1 suspicious activity report, 2 medical emergencies and 1 public assist call between 2-17-05 and 2-18-05.
