Moore-Hill Dormitory, 214 East 24th Street
Occurred on 3-7-05 at 6:00 p.m.
Criminal Trespass / Failure to Identify: A non-UT subject was found in a 3rd floor dormitory room after the subject had previously received a written criminal trespass warning serving notice that his presence inside the dormitory was forbidden. The subject provided the officer with a fictitious name. The officer had previously dealt with the same subject and knew of the subject's aliases.
Parking Lot 102, 2200 Comal Street
Occurred on 3-7-05 between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Theft: A teal 1997 Honda Accord with an a political sticker and a middle school honor school student bumper stickers on the back of the vehicle and white paint on one of the front fenders from a previous collision was stolen when it was parked in the Parking Lot. Loss value: $2,500.00.
Peter T. Flawn Academic Center, #2 West Mall
Occurred on 3-7-05 at 11:35 a.m.
Theft: A non-UT subject tore the call number tag from the binding of a paperback book and placed the book in his backpack in an effort to steal the book. The theft prevention alarm at the exit door sounded as the subject attempted to leave the library. Recovery value: $25.00.

Occurred on 3-8-05 at 2:50 a.m.
Driving While Intoxicated / Possession of a Controlled Substance: A UT student was stopped for disregarding a stop sign while driving a Jeep Cherokee. The student was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point she was driving while intoxicated. A front seat passenger in the vehicle, who was also a UT student, was found to be in possession of a prescription drug that had been prescribed to another subject.
Occurred at various times.
Noncriminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, UTPD responded to 13 alarm calls, 3 unsecured door reports, 5 suspicious activity reports, 2 welfare concern reports, 2 stuck elevator reports, 1 medical emergency report, 2 lighting surveys and 3 public assist reports between 3-7-05 and 3-8-05.
