Centennial Apartments, 501 West 26th Street
Occurred on 3-12-05 at 11:50 p.m.
Assist Outside Agency (Burglary / Criminal Trespass of a Residence): A private security officer for the Centennial Apartment complex flagged a UT police officer down and reported a non-UT subject had climbed over a wall to a ground floor apartment patio and stole two pairs of shoes. Another UT police officer located the subject in the 2400 block of Guadalupe. The subject was still in possession of the two pairs of shoes. Recovery value: $75.00.

Occurred on 3-12-05 at 1:50 a.m.
Public Intoxication / Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor (2 counts): Two UT students, who were under the age of 21, were found helping a third UT student, who was also under the age of 21, maintain her balance. The student who was being helped was unable to stand or walk without assistance. That student was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point she was a physical endangerment to herself. The other two UT students were also found to have consumed alcoholic beverages.

Occurred on 3-12-05 between 2:45 p.m. and 3:35 p.m.
Theft: A black and silver Motorola cellular telephone with a built in digital camera was stolen when it was left on a countertop at a vending booth during a baseball game. Loss value: $200.00.
Beauford H. Jester Center, 201 East 21st Street
Occurred on 3-7-05.
Assault: A UT staff member followed another staff member into a 1st floor room and asked for "a little kiss." After the refusal of a kiss, the first staff member grabbed the second by both arms and "placed his lips on hers."
Beauford H. Jester Center East, 203 East 21st Street
Occurred on 3-11-05 at approximately 12 noon.
Arson: An unidentified subject(s) set a piece of paper on fire. The piece of paper had been secured to a wall in a 5th floor elevator lobby by a piece of tape. The fire damaged a 2" by 8" section of the wall. Repair cost: $100.00.
Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st Street
Occurred between 3-9-05and 3-11-05 at 7:30 a.m.
Criminal Mischief: A hand rail used to surround the sport court viewing area located on the east side of the dormitory was pulled from the ground. Repair cost: $1,000.00.
Red and Charline McCombs Field, 2001 Comal Street
Discovered on 3-12-05 at 5:45 a.m.
Graffiti: A red ink pen was used to draw a symbol on the side of a "Police Help" call box on the west side of the stadium. Removal cost: $30.00.

Occurred on 3-13-05 at 1:43 a.m.
Driving While Intoxicated: A non-UT subject was stopped for driving under the posted speed limit and with a broken headlamp while driving a blue Volvo. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was driving while intoxicated.

Occurred on 3-13-05 at 12:55 a.m.
Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was a passenger in a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee that was stopped as the driver of that vehicle had been speeding. The student was found to have consumed alcoholic beverages.
Occurred at various times.
Noncriminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, UTPD responded to 26 alarm calls, 6 unsecured door reports, 2 suspicious activity reports, 1 welfare concern report, 1 medical emergency, 2 motor vehicle collisions, 1 welfare concern, 2 found property reports and 7 public assist reports between 3-11-05 and 3-14-05.
