Occurred between 3-23-05 at 2:00 p.m. and 3-25-05 at 8:00 a.m.
Theft: A blue 21-speed Mongoose mountain bicycle was stolen from the bike racks on the south side of the building after being secured with a cable lock. Loss value $75.00.
Carothers Dormitory, 2501 Whitis Avenue
Occurred between 3-20-05 and 3-27-05 at 9:56 p.m.
Harassment: A second floor resident received several unwanted telephone calls and e-mail messages from a UT student after both met through the UT student website "Face-Book".
Disch-Falk Field, 1300 East Martin Luther King Blvd.
Occurred on 3-25-05 at 5:15 p.m.
Assault: A non-UT subject was assaulted while attempting to take pictures of baseball players during the Texas-vs-Texas Tech baseball game.
Ernest Cockrell Jr. Hall, 301 East Dean Keeton Street
Occurred between 3-11-05 and 3-22-05.
Theft: A Dell Inspiron laptop computer was reported stolen from the second floor after being left unsecured. Loss Value: $1,000.00.
Frank C. Erwin Jr. Special Events Center, 1701 Red River
Occurred on 3-25-05 at 8:00 p.m.
Theft: A black leather wallet containing various credit cards and $25.00 in US currency was stolen from the rear pants pocket of a subject attending the NCAA tournament. Loss value: $35.00.
Gregory Gymnasium, 2101 Speedway
Occurred on 3-27-05 between 1:55 p.m. and 2:05 p.m.
Theft: A pink Cashmere sweater, two t-shirts and a pair of blue jeans were stolen after being left unattended inside the 2nd floor women's locker room while the owner was showering. Loss value: $50.00.
Peter T. Flawn Academic Center, #2 West Mall
Occurred on 3-25-05 between 10:00 a.m. and 2:45 p.m.
Theft: A blue Jansport backpack containing an iPod charger, 2 pairs of blue jeans, Ray-Ban sunglasses, and a Sony Ericsson black and silver cellular telephone was reported stolen from a 3rd floor study area while the owner was sleeping. Loss value: $150.00.

Occurred on 3-26-05 at 3:40 a.m.
Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor/ Possession of a Fictitious Driver's License: A UT student was discovered unconscious in the back seat of a vehicle during a traffic violation investigation. Officers detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from her person. During the investigation, officers discovered a fictitious driver's license in her possession that identified her being over the age of 21.
600 Block Colorado Street
Occurred on 3-26-05 at 1:40 a.m.
Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was observed having difficulty walking and maintaining her balance. When stopped, the subject was disorientated and confused as to where she was and where she had parked her vehicle. Officers detected a very strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from her person.
700 Block Martin Luther King Blvd.
Occurred on 3-27-05 at 12:30 a.m.
Driving While intoxicated: A non-UT subject was observed operating a motor vehicle with a defective headlamp. The driver was found to be operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.
1800 Block Red River Street
Occurred on 3-25-05 at 7:00 p.m.
Driving Under the Influence by a Minor/ Possession of Alcohol by a Minor: A non-UT subject, under the legal age of 21 years of age, was discovered to be operating a motor vehicle after having consumed an alcoholic beverage. During the investigation, officers recovered 2 cases of alcohol from within the vehicle that the subject had purchased.
2200 Block Guadalupe
Occurred on 3-26-05 at 1:45 a.m.
Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was stopped after disregarding a red light. During the investigation, it was determined that the driver had an outstanding outside agency warrant for theft.
2200 Block Speedway
Occurred on 3-27-05 at 12:36 a.m.
Attempted Theft: A UT student reported observing a subject remove a bicycle frame from the bike racks but leave the front tire secured to the bike rack. The subject then moved to a dark area and began putting another front tire on the bicycle. When the subject realized that he was being watched he placed the bicycle and tire into some bushes and ran from the area. The subject is described as: Hispanic male, 5'6", 160lbs, with a short burr style hair cut. Was last seen wearing a grey jacket and dark pants.

Occurred on 3-27-05 at 1:58 a.m.
Driving While Intoxicated: A UT student, traveling northbound in a 2-door Honda at a high rate of speed, was stopped and found to be operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.
Occurred at various times.
Noncriminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, UTPD responded to 12 alarm calls, 15 unsecured door reports, 4 suspicious activity reports, 1 found property report, 1 fire report, 4 EMS/medical calls and 4 public assist reports between 3-25-05 and 3-27-05.
