Occurred on 4-13-05 at 5:15 p.m.
Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping on the steps located on the east side of the building. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
Engineering-Science Building, 2501 Speedway
Occurred on 4-07-05 between 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Theft: A black and blue colored Yukon mountain bicycle was stolen from the bicycle racks on the west side of the building after being secured with a U-shaped lock. Loss value: $150.00.
Parking Garage 7, 1815 Trinity Street
Occurred on 4-13-05 between 5:33 a.m. and 5:39 a.m.
Theft: A purple Cannondale mountain bicycle with all-terrain tires, black gel seat, and white Cannondale logos was stolen within six minutes from the first level bicycle racks after being secured with a combination cable lock. The lock was discovered by UT Police officers beside the bike rack cut in half. Loss value: $300.00.
Perry-Castañeda Library, 101 East 21st Street
Occurred on 4-13-05 at 4:23 p.m.
Attempted Theft: A brown canvas bag containing a Hewlett-Packard laptop computer was left unattended inside a 4th floor study room while the owner of the property sat at a table outside the room. After reporting the theft of the computer, the owner saw a subject carrying her computer and canvas bag. The owner confronted the subject and demanded her property be returned to her. The subject is described as a white male 25 years of age, with a "scruffy face", brown hair, blue eyes and long side burns. The subject was last seen wearing black pants, and a black jacket over a white tee-shirt. The subject was last seen entering an elevator on the 4th floor.

Union Building, #4 West Mall
Occurred on 4-14-05 at 3:40 a.m.
Possession of Marijuana: Two non-UT subjects were observed sharing a marijuana cigarette while on break from their place of employment. Additional marijuana was discovered during a consent to search.
Townes Hall, 727 East Dean Keeton Street
Occurred on 4-13-05 at 8:00 p.m.
Disrupting a Public Meeting (6 Counts): Five non-UT subjects and one juvenile were arrested after using artificial noise makers and other tactics to disrupt a public meeting inside the 2nd floor auditorium.

Occurred at various times.
Noncriminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, UTPD responded to 7 alarm calls, 4 unsecured door reports, 1 public assist report, 1 medical emergency call, 1 collision, and 1 suspicious activity report between 4-13-05 and 4-14-05.
