Main Building, #1 South Mall
Occurred between 6-01-05 at 5:30 p.m. and 6-02-05 at 1:30 a.m.
Duty Upon Striking an Unattended Motor Vehicle: The right front bumper of a green 1998 Acura was damaged after being struck by another vehicle. The driver of the striking vehicle left the scene without leaving any required driver's or insurance information. Loss value: $700.00.
Union Building, #4 West Mall
Occurred on 6-03-05 at 1:40 a.m.
Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was found sleeping on the east patio. Officers discovered the subject had an outstanding outside agency warrant for Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility.
2200 Block Robert Dedman Drive
Occurred on 6-03-05 at 1:25 a.m.
Public Intoxication / Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was discovered passed out in a planter located on the north east corner of Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium with his zipper open. After being awakened, the subject believed he was at the intersection of 51st Street and Lamar. During the investigation, officers discovered that the subject had an outstanding outside agency warrant for Public Intoxication.
Case Follow Up
On April 15, 2005 a Leaving the Scene Collision was featured in the Campus Watch Daily Report. Officers assigned to the case were able to identify the driver of the striking vehicle and obtain a statement from him. An arrest warrant has been issued.

Noncriminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, UTPD responded to 7 alarm calls, 2 unsecured door reports, and 3 suspicious activity reports between 6-02-05 and 6-03-05.
