Brazos Garage, 210 East Martin Luther King Blvd.

Occurred on 6-5-05 at 1:25 a.m.

Possession of Marijuana / Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor (2 counts): Two UT students were found loitering on the south side of the garage. Upon approach, the police officer could detect a strong odor of burning marijuana. Both students, who were both under the age of 21, were found to have consumed alcoholic beverages. One of the students was found to be in possession of a glass jar containing 0.175 ounces of marijuana. A partially burned, hand-rolled cigarette containing marijuana was found near both students.

Littlefield Dormitory, 201 West Dean Keeton

Occurred on 6-5-05 at 3:20 a.m.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor (2 counts): A male UT student was found supporting a female UT student while she was attempting to climb over a fence to the dormitory courtyard. Both students were under the age of 21 and were found to have consumed alcoholic beverages. The male student advised he was attempting to sneak the female student to his dormitory room.

Parking Lot 103, 2100 Comal Street

Occurred on 6-4-05 at 8:45 p.m.

Disorderly Conduct: An unidentified complainant reported several people sitting on the top of a yellow moving van to watch a baseball game in Disch-Falk Field. The complainant advised the subjects had been yelling obscenities at pedestrians.

Recreational Sports Center, 2001 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 6-4-05 at 12:30 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was observed walking back and forth by a bicycle rack located on the west side of the building. The subject stopped frequently to look at the bicycles. At one point the subject pulled on a bicycle lock that was securing a bicycle to the bicycle rack. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Recreational Sports Center, 2001 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 6-5-05 at 9:30 p.m.

Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject required medical assistance for a breathing problem. After being cleared by Austin-Travis County EMS, the subject stated he wanted to drive himself home. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself and others.

Santa Rita No. 1, 1900 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 6-6-05 at 4:35 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping on the lawn by the Santa Rita Rig. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Townes Hall, 727 East Dean Keeton

Occurred on 6-2-05 between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Theft: A black leather wallet containing various identification cards and credit cards was stolen from a "bag" located inside an unsecured 2nd floor office. Loss value: $20.00.

University of Texas Elementary School, 2200 East 6th Street

Discovered on 6-4-05 at 6:15 p.m.

Graffiti: White paint was used to write illegible letters and symbols on a Parking Lot light pole and yellow paint was used to draw a symbol on a second Parking Lot light pole. Removal cost: $50.00.

2300 Inner Campus Drive

Discovered on 6-5-05 at 3:25 p.m.

Graffiti: A black permanent marker was used to write words on a light pole located near the Turtle Pond. Removal cost: $35.00.

1900 University

Occurred on 6-5-05 at 3:20 a.m.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor (2 counts): A UT police officer observed a Chevrolet Trailblazer stopped in the middle of the roadway. A passenger inside the vehicle opened the door, leaned out and exhibited an extreme involuntary physical reaction to the over-consumption of an alcoholic beverage. That passenger and a second passenger inside the vehicle were both found to be UT students who were under the age of 21. Both students were found to have consumed alcoholic beverages.

600 East 7th Street

Occurred on 6-4-05 at 4:30 a.m.

Driving While Intoxicated with an Open Container: A non-UT subject was stopped for driving the wrong way on a one-way roadway. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was driving while intoxicated. An open container of beer was found inside the vehicle.

100 West 21st Street

Occurred on 6-5-05 at 4:10 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found pulling on bicycles that were secured to a bicycle rack. The subject was found to have previously been issued a written criminal trespass warning.

300 East 23rd Street

Discovered on 6-6-05 at 5:50 a.m.

Graffiti: A black permanent marker was used to write illegible words on a telephone booth located near the East Mall fountain. Removal cost: 50.00.

24th Street and Whitis Avenue

Occurred on 6-4-05 at 5:13 p.m.

Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was stopped for running a stop sign, speeding and disregarding a posted sign while driving a 1994 Toyota Camry. The subject was found to have an outstanding outside agency arrest warrant for driving a vehicle with an expired vehicle registration.

Noncriminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, UTPD responded to 17 alarm calls, 8 unsecured door reports, 2 suspicious activity reports, 9 public assist requests, 1 medical emergency and 1 collision between 6-03-05 and 6-06-05.
