McCombs School of Business, 2110 Speedway
Occurred between 7-13-05 at 7:00 p.m. and 7-14-05 at 8:00 a.m.
Burglary: An unknown device was used to pry open several exterior ground floor office windows on the north side of the building. A silver Sony Clie' PDA was stolen from one of the offices. Loss value: $600.00.
Parking Lot 80, 1900 Red River
Occurred on 7-14-05 between 1:24 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.
Leaving the Scene Collision: The left rear bumper of a parked 2004 Honda Civic was struck by an unknown vehicle. The striking vehicle left a dark colored paint transfer on the Honda's bumper. The driver of the striking vehicle left the scene without leaving their driver information. Repair cost: $1,000.00.

Occurred on 7-15-05 at 12 midnight.
Criminal Trespass / Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was found sleeping in a 1st floor area that was closed to the public. The subject was found to have an outstanding outside agency arrest warrant for theft by check. The subject was found to be in possession of a UT student's UT identification card. In addition to other law enforcement action taken, the subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
2300 San Jacinto Blvd.
Occurred on 7-15-05 at 4:45 a.m.
Public Intoxication / Theft / Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject, who matched the description of a subject soliciting money near San Jacinto Residence Hall, was found staggering in the roadway while carrying an industrial blender, a coffee thermos and a black nylon laptop computer case. The subject admitted to stealing the items from a near-by smoothie kiosk. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself. The subject was also found to have two outstanding outside agency arrest warrants for failing to appear in court on unrelated offenses.
Union Building, #4 West Mall
Occurred between 6-25-05 and 7-2-05.
Theft: A Hitachi VHS player was stolen from an unsecured 3rd floor room. Loss value: $75.00.
Will C. Hogg Building, #2 East Mall
Occurred on 7-14-05 at 7:40 a.m.
Assault by Contact / Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject, who was a contract worker for building renovations, reported a second contract worker had pushed him in the chest as the two passed each other on a sidewalk. The suspect stated he pushed a bag of debris that the other contract worker was carrying to move the bag out of his way when the two passed each other. The contract worker who had been carrying the bag of debris was found to have an outstanding outside agency arrest warrant for an assault-family violence case.
Occurred at various times.
Noncriminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, UTPD responded to 10 alarm calls, 2 unsecured doors, 3 suspicious activity reports, 2 public assist requests, 1 welfare concern and 2 collisions between 7-14-05 and 7-15-05.
