Blanton Dormitory, 2500 University

Occurred between 9-2-05 at 9:34 PM and 9-7-05 at 9:44 PM.

Credit Card Abuse: An unknown subject has used a residents lost UT identification card to make $27.46 worth of unauthorized charges against the residents Bevo Bucks account.

Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, 405 East 23rd Street

Occurred on 9-17-05 at 8:50 PM.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found soliciting the sale of water outside of gate 12. The subject was found to be in possession of several football game pass out tickets. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, 405 East 23rd Street

Occurred on 9-17-05 between 9:20 PM and 9:40 PM.

Theft: A black camera bag containing a Fuji digital camera, a cell phone and two identification cards was stolen when it was left under a stadium seat 19 in section 28, row 20. Loss value: $400.00.

Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, 405 East 23rd Street

During the UT Football Game, the UT Police Department issued citations and ejected people from the football stadium for the following rule violations and offenses:
Possession of Alcohol by a Minor: 6
Possession of Alcohol in Violation of UT Regents Rules and Regulations: 30
Disorderly Conduct: 5
Stadium Rules Violations including smoking in the stadium and passing student identification cards through the gates: 12

2200 Guadalupe

Occurred on 9-17-05 at 2:54 AM.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor / Failure to Identify: A male UT student, who was 21 years old and a female UT student, who was under the age of 21, were found walking near the roadway. The male student was assisting the female student with her balance. The female student was found to have consumed alcoholic beverages. The female student initially provided the police officer with a fictitious date of birth.

Main Building, #1 South Mall

Occurred on 9-18-05 at 9:48 AM.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping on a bench by a 2nd floor office. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Parking Lot 80, 1900 Red River

Occurred on 9-17-05 at 10:30 PM.

Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was reported in the Parking Lot as starting fights. The subject was found having difficulty with standing and admitted to shoving another over a girl. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself and others.

Peter T. Flawn Academic Center, #2 West Mall

Occurred on 9-19-05 at 2:40 AM.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping inside a 1st floor auditorium. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

1800 Red River

Occurred on 9-18-05 at 3:00 AM.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor (2 counts): Two non-UT subjects, who were passengers inside a vehicle that had been stopped for a traffic violation were found to have consumed alcoholic beverages.

Roberts Hall Dormitory, 303 East 21st Street

Occurred between 9-16-05 at 12:47 AM and 9-18-05.

Harassment: An unidentified caller used a hearing impaired telephone assistance company to place a telephone call in which the caller made offensive statements to a residents dormitory room telephone. The resident also received two annoying and unwanted calls to her cell phone.

2300 San Antonio

Occurred on 9-17-05 at 3:30 AM.

Driving Under the Influence by a Minor: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was stopped for running a red light while driving a white colored Pontiac Firebird. The student was found to have consumed alcoholic beverages, but not to the point she was driving while intoxicated.

2400 San Antonio

Occurred on 9-16-05 at 7:20 PM.

Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was found sleeping on the side of the road. The subject was found to have three outstanding outside agency arrest warrants for littering, glass container where prohibited violation and possession of alcohol in a park violation.

2100 San Jacinto

Occurred on 9-17-05 at 2:15 AM.

Driving Under the Influence by a Minor: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was stopped for speeding while driving a 2004 Mazda. The student was found to have consumed alcoholic beverages, but was not under the influence of alcohol to the point he was driving while intoxicated.

2200 San Jacinto

Occurred on 9-17-05 at 3:05 AM.

Driving While Intoxicated: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was stopped for running a stop sign while driving a silver colored Honda 4-door. The student was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was driving while intoxicated.

Sanchez Building, 1912 Speedway

Occurred between 9-2-05 at 5:00 PM and 9-09-05 at 9:30 AM.

Theft: A pair of Sony headphones, an 8 pack of size AAA batteries and two packs of Camel brand cigarettes were stolen from an unsecured 4th floor room. Loss value: $32.00.

Sid Richardson Hall, 2300 Red River

Occurred between 8-17-05 at 6:00 PM and 9-13-05 at 6:00 PM.

Theft: A red colored Mongoose bicycle was stolen while it was secured with a cable lock to a bicycle rack located on the west side of the building. Loss value: $125.00.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred between 9-2-05 at 1:45 PM and 9-4-05 at 3:00 PM.

Theft: $100.00 cash was stolen from an unsecured cashbox located inside a 5th floor office. The cashbox had been left unsecured as the key to the lock had previously been lost.

University Teaching Center, 105 West 21st Street

Occurred on 9-17-05 at 11:15 AM.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found loitering on the 4th floor in an area reserved for faculty, staff and students. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Walter Webb Hall, 2500 Guadalupe

Discovered on 9-16-05 at 7:55 AM.

Graffiti: A white paint pen was used to write a word on the east exterior wall of the building. Removal cost: $35.00.

24th Street and Guadalupe

Occurred on 9-18-05 at 3:15 AM.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor (2 counts): Two UT students and one non-UT subject, all of whom were under the age of 21, were found staggering near the roadway. The non-UT subject was staggering and needed to use a wall to support herself. At one point, the subject was observed hugging a light pole for support while the students continued to walk. Once the three subjects were stopped, it was determined that the two students had consumed alcoholic beverages, while the subject had not and was staggering and hugging the light pole as a joke between her and the students.

200 East 21st Street

Occurred on 9-17-05 at 1:15 AM.

Public Intoxication (2 counts): Three UT students, all of which were under the age of 21, were found staggering near the roadway. Two of the students were carrying the third student who had evidence of involuntary bodily functions on both the front and back of her pants. The student who was being carried also had evidence of having previously exhibited an extreme involuntary physical reaction to the over-consumption of an alcoholic beverage down the front of her shirt. The student who was being carried and one of the other two students were found to be under the influence of alcoholic beverages to the point they were both a physical endangerment to themselves. The student who needed to be carried was intoxicated to the point Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services needed to transport her to a local emergency room for the treatment of alcohol poisoning.

100 West 21st Street

Occurred on 9-17-05 at 12:30 AM.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor / Public Intoxication / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia / Possession of Marijuana: A UT student and a non-UT subject, both of whom were under the age of 21, were found walking with an exaggerated gait and crossing the roadway without regard for on-coming traffic. Both were found to have consumed alcoholic beverages. The student was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and a glass pipe containing burned marijuana residue. The non-UT subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.

100 West 21st Street

Occurred on 9-18-05 at 2:15 AM.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor (2 counts): Two UT students, who were both under the age of 21, were found sitting on a curb with their legs in the roadway. Both students were found to have consumed alcoholic beverages.

Occurred at various times.

Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 21 alarm calls, 7 unsecured door reports, 8 suspicious activity reports, 7 medical emergencies, 1 welfare concern report, 1 stuck elevator, 1 welfare concern, 4 motor vehicle collisions and 13 calls for service between 9-16-05 and 9-19-05.
