Perry-Castañeda Library, 101 East 21st Street

Occurred on 10-10-05 at 9:30 PM.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found walking around making loud noises and disturbing students. At the request of a library staff member, the subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Peter T. Flawn Academic Center, #2 West Mall

Occurred between 10-9-05 at 9:45 PM and 10-10-05 at 7:45 AM.

Theft: A Panasonic DVD / VCR combo player was stolen from a 3rd floor room. Loss value: $100.00.

1800 Red River

Occurred on 10-11-05 at 1:30 AM.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor / Assist Outside Agency / Possession of More than One Driver License: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was observed staggering and swaying as he was walking. The student was stopped after being observed performing a bodily function on a wall. The student was found to have consumed alcoholic beverages. The student was also found to have an outstanding outside agency arrest warrant for the possession of drug paraphernalia. The student was then found to be in possession of anothers driver license who was 21 years of age.

Townes Hall, 727 East Dean Keeton

Occurred between 10-7-05 at 5:30 PM and 10-8-05 at 8:00 AM.

Theft: A Dell Latitude D600 laptop computer was stolen when it was left in the unsecured law library. Loss value: $1,000.00.

Walter Webb Hall, 2500 Guadalupe

Occurred on 10-10-05 at 11:41 PM.

Criminal Trespass (2 counts): Two non-UT subjects were found sleeping on the east side of the building. Both subjects were issued a written criminal trespass warning.

West Mall

Occurred on 10-11-05 at 4:00 AM.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject, who had been issued a written criminal trespass warning earlier in the evening (see Perry-Castañeda Library entry), was found sleeping in a planter box in violation of UT Regents Rules and Regulations.

Campus Wide

Occurred at various times.

Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 8 alarm calls, 2 unsecured door reports, 5 suspicious activity reports, 1 medical emergency report and 2 public assist requests between 10-10-05 and 10-11-05.
