Brackenridge Hall Dormitory, 207 East 21st Street

Occurred on 11-10-05 at 3:58 PM.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: Six UT students were reported as smoking marijuana in the breezeway between Brackenridge Hall Dormitory and Roberts Hall Dormitory. Upon arrival, a police officer observed the six students hand rolling cigarettes. A small plastic bottle containing a small amount of marijuana was found approximately five feet away from the students. One student was found to be in possession of a glass pipe containing burned marijuana residue.

Engineering Teaching Center, 204 East Dean Keeton

Occurred on 11-10-05 between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM.

Theft: A faded red Ozone bicycle was stolen while it was secured with a cable lock to a bicycle rack located on the west side of the building. Loss value: $100.00.

Jesse H. Jones Communications Center, 2504 Whitis

Occurred on 11-10-05 between 12:30 PM and 1:45 PM.

Theft: An orange BMX style bicycle was stolen while it was secured with a cable lock to a bicycle rack located on the northwest side of building B. Loss value: $100.00.

Main Building, #1 South Mall

Occurred on 11-9-05 between 11:00 AM and 9:00 PM.

Theft: A red Frejus 10 speed bicycle was stolen while it was secured with a cable lock to a bicycle rack located on the west side of the building. Loss value: $75.00.

Simkins Hall Dormitory, 2501 San Jacinto

Occurred on 11-10-05 at 9:53 AM.

Criminal Trespass: A known bicycle thief was observed exiting Waller Creek on the west side of the dormitory. The same subject was later seen by the same officer in the bicycle rack area on the west side of the dormitory. Each time the subject observed the marked patrol vehicle, he would change his direction of travel. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 5 alarm calls, 4 suspicious activity reports, 1 medical emergency and 2 requests for service between 11-10-05 and 11-11-05.
