Colorado Building, 702 Colorado

Occurred on 12-10-05 at 2:49 AM.

Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was reported as wrapping both arms and legs around a pedestrian while pleading for help as she lost her fiancee and really needed to use the restroom. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point Austin-Travis County EMS needed to transport the subject to a local hospital for observation.

Frank C. Erwin Special Events Center, 1701 Red River

Occurred on 12-10-05 at 3:30 AM.

Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was found sleeping on the south side of the building. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.

Moore-Hill Dormitory, 214 East 24th Street

Occurred on 12-10-05 at 1:03 AM.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was found unconscious inside a 4th floor dormitory room. When awakened, the student advised another student had provided her with large amount of alcohol earlier in the day. The student had previously displayed a severe involuntary physical reaction to the over-consumption of an alcoholic beverage. The student was found to be under the influence of alcohol and / or another substance to the point Austin-Travis County EMS needed to transport the student to a local hospital for observation.

Parking Lot 37, 2200 Red River

Occurred on 12-9-05 between 10:15 AM and 2:00 PM.

Leaving the Scene Collision: The front left quarter panel of a 2001 Hyundai Sonota was struck by an unknown vehicle while the Hyundai was parked on the south side of the Parking Lot. Red paint was transferred from the striking vehicle to the Hyundai. The driver of the striking vehicle left the scene without leaving driver information. Repair cost: $1,000.00.

Townes Hall, 727 East Dean Keeton

Occurred on 12-09-05 at 9:02 AM.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was reported by a staff member as removing books from student lockers. The subject was found to have previously been issued a written criminal trespass warning. The books in question were discarded books from the law library.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred on 12-9-05 at 6:43 PM.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was reported by a staff member as causing a disturbance inside a 4th floor room by yelling at students. The subject was found to have previously been issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Wooldridge Hall, 600 West 24th Street

Occurred on 12-12-05 at 6:19 AM.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping inside a storage shed located on the east side of the building. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

1800 Guadalupe

Occurred on 12-10-05 at 4:09 AM.

Driving While Intoxicated / Open Container in a Vehicle: A non-UT subject was stopped after making several moving violations while driving a 2000 Chevrolet 4-door. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was driving while intoxicated. An open bottle of beer was found inside the vehicle.

Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 26 alarm calls, 7 unsecured door reports, 4 public assist request, 1 motor vehicle collision, 4 medical emergencies and 3 suspicious activity calls between 12-09-05 and 12-12-05.
