Crime Prevention Tip:

Finals time is primetime for textbook thieves. Book stores are inundated with people selling used textbooks back at this time of year. Starving students and thieves know this so they start shopping for unattended books. I have two recommendations. First, never-ever leave your textbooks unattended. You should also write your state issued driver license number or state identification card number on the same page in every textbook you own say page 102. That way, if your textbooks are stolen, UTPD can identify your stolen textbooks at the book store.
