Brackenridge Apartments, 3300 Lake Austin Blvd

Occurred between 12-14-05 and 12-16-05 at 8:30 PM.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The front dashboard was damaged when an unknown subject stole a Sony AM / FM / CD stereo from a Volkswagon 4-door that was left unsecured by building 3363. Damage: $125.00. Loss value: $200.00.

Brackenridge Apartments, 3300 Lake Austin Blvd

Occurred between 12-16-05 at 9:00 PM and 12-17-05 at 7:58 AM.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The right front window was broken out of a black Honda 4-door while it was parked by building 3367. A leather satchel was stolen from the vehicle. Loss value: $80.00. Repair cost: $150.00.

Brackenridge Hall Dormitory, 207 East 21st Street

Occurred between 12-01-05 and 12-17-05 at 5:40 PM.

Theft: A silver, black and blue Schwinn Ranger 2.6 bicycle was stolen while it was secured with a u-lock to a bicycle rack located on the west side of the dormitory. Loss value: $200.00.

Jester Center East, 203 East 21st Street

Occurred on 12-19-05 at 2:26 AM.

Public Intoxication: A UT student was found leaning over a trash can while expelling the contents of his stomach. Friends of the student stated he had been excessively celebrating his 21st birthday. The student was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.

Jester Center East, 203 East 21st Street

Occurred on 12-19-05 at 2:23 AM.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor (3 counts) / Minor in Possession of Alcohol / Possession of Marijuana / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia / Possession of a Controlled Substance (2 counts): While investigating a report of a subject sleeping in a 3rd floor hallway, a UT officer found a non-UT subject and a UT student tending to a sleeping non-UT subject. All three subjects were under the age of 21 and found to have been consuming alcoholic beverages. An open bottle of alcohol and marijuana was found inside the students 3rd floor dormitory room. The UT student was found to be in possession of Xanax without a prescription. Another non-UT subject was found sleeping inside the students dormitory room. That subject was also found to be in possession of a partially burned hand-rolled cigarette containing marijuana and two Adderall capsules without a prescription.

Parking Lot 103, 2100 Comal

Occurred between 12-13-05 at 11:00 PM and 12-17-05 at 7:00 PM.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The right front window was broken out of a white Honda 4-door while it was parked in the Parking Lot. A Kenwood AM / FM / CD stereo was stolen from the vehicle. Repair cost: $150.00. Loss value: $150.00.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH 35

Discovered on 12-16-05 at 5:41 AM.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The right front window was broken out of a white Jeep Cherokee while it was parked in the Parking Lot. A Sony Explode AM / FM / CD stereo was stolen from the vehicle. Repair cost: $150.00. Loss value: $200.00.

Discovered on 12-16-05 at 5:41 AM.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The left front window was broken out of a white Honda Accord while it was parked in the Parking Lot. An unknown brand AM / FM / CD was stolen from the vehicle. Repair cost: $150.00. Loss value: Unknown at this time.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH 35

Discovered on 12-17-05 at 11:30 PM.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The left front window was broken out of a white 1988 Honda 4-door while it was parked in the Parking Lot. The vehicles in-dash AM / FM / CD stereo was damaged in what appeared to be an attempt to steal the stereo. Repair cost: $250.00.

Occurred on 12-18-05 at 11:45 PM.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found camping on the north side of an abandoned building. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Campus Wide

Occurred at various times.

Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 15 alarm calls, 8 unsecured doors, 1 public assist request and 2 suspicious activity calls between 12-16-05 and 12-19-05.
