Occurred on 03-06-06 between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
Theft: A maroon and silver Marin bicycle was stolen while it was secured with a cable lock to a bicycle rack located on the north side of the building. Loss value: $100.00.
Townes Hall, 727 East Dean Keaton
Occurred on 03-08-06 at 12:30 AM.
Criminal Trespass Warning: A non-UT subject was reported as sleeping in a chair located on the 6th floor of the library. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
200 West Dean Keaton
Occurred on 03-07-06 at 9:55 AM.
Pedestrian in the Roadway / Evading / Resisting Arrest: A non-UT subject, who matched the description of a suspicious subject in Townes Hall, was found walking in a lane of traffic. When an officer ordered the subject out of the roadway, the subject replied in a manner that indicated he did not intend to leave the roadway and continued to walk in the roadway. After the subject ignored a second order to exit the roadway and to stop, the officer attempted to physically stop the subject. On two occasions, the subject pulled away from the officer and continued to walk. When officers were able to stop the subject he fell limp and would not comply or respond to the officers directions. Officers needed to physically carry the subject and place him a patrol vehicle.

Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 5 alarm calls, 2 unsecured door reports, 3 requests for assistance and 5 suspicious activity reports between 03-07-06 and 03-08-06.
