Gregory Gym, 2101 Speedway
Occurred on 03-10-06 between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
Theft: A green Wilson sports bag containing a pair of Nike basketball shoes, an Apple i-pod, a Samsung cell phone, $41.00 in cash and a Fossil wallet with various identification cards and credit cards was stolen when it was left in an unsecured locker located inside the 2nd floor weight room. Loss value: $340.00.
Living Learning Center, 2610 Whitis
Occurred on 03-11-06 at 12:33 AM.
Possession of Marijuana (2 counts) / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia / Possession of Anothers Drivers License: Three UT students were found loitering in a secluded area outside of the dormitory. Two of the students were found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana. One of these two students was also found to be in possession of anothers drivers license. The third student was found to be in possession of a small glass pipe containing burned marijuana residue.
Parking Lot 113, 2200 Comal
Occurred between 01-15-06 at 2:00 PM and 02-04-06 at 9:00 PM.
Burglary of Motor Vehicle: A UT student reported she discovered a metal object had been broken off in the drivers door lock of her Ford F-150 pick-up truck while it was parked in the Parking Lot. The contents of her glove compartment box had been rummaged through and a dollars worth of change was stolen from her vehicle. Repair cost: $200.00. Loss value: $1.00. Total loss = $201.00. The victim did not report the crime earlier, as she believed the police department would be of little assistance.
Parking Lot 115, 1600 East 20th Street
Occurred on 03-12-06 at 12:05 AM.
Failure to Identify Criminal Trespass Warning: A non-UT subject was observed entering the Parking Lot on foot and looking into parked vehicles. Upon seeing a marked patrol vehicle, the subject promptly exited the Parking Lot. The subject initially provided the stopping officer with a fictitious name and date of birth. In addition to other law enforcement action taken, the subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
Robert A. Welch Hall, 105 East 24th Street
Occurred on 03-11-06 between 12:30 PM and 3:00 PM.
Theft: A white Schwinn Ready Style 10 speed bicycle was stolen while it was secured with a u-lock to a bicycle rack located on the north side of the building. Loss value: $100.00.
Union Building, #4 West Mall
Occurred on 03-10-06 at 9:46 AM.
Criminal Trespass Warning: A non-UT subject was reported as bathing in a 2nd floor womens restroom while wearing a sweater and a table cloth around her waist. The subject was then observed attempting to enter the kitchen area of the 2nd floor restaurants. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
Union Building, #4 West Mall
Occurred between 03-11-06 at 11:30 PM and 03-12-06 at 12:45 AM.
Criminal Mischief: An unidentified subject(s) forced the lock to a 1st floor mens restroom paper towel dispenser open. Repair cost: $30.00.
University of Texas Police Building, 2201 Robert Dedman
Occurred on 03-12-06 at 11:50 PM.
Driving While Intoxicated: A non-UT subject was observed driving on the sidewalk located on the south side of the police department before turning into the police department police vehicle parking lot and failing to park his vehicle within the confines of a parking space when he ran over a curb stop. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he had been driving while intoxicated.

Discovered on 03-12-06 at 4:25 AM.
Graffiti: White paint was used to draw an image on an exterior door located on the east side of the building. Removal cost: $35.00.

Occurred on 03-13-06 at 12:30 AM.
Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was observed staggering and using the east exterior wall of the building for support while attempting to walk on the sidewalk. The subject had small cuts on his face which he said were caused by accidentally running into a wall. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.
Occurred on 03-12-06 at 3:30 AM.
Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was found passed out on the sidewalk. The subject responded after a lot of physical prodding and calling out. The subject stated he had consumed 5 beers, but was found lying amongst numerous empty beer cans. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point Austin-Travis County EMS needed to transport the subject to a local hospital for the treatment of alcohol poisoning.

Occurred on 03-11-06 at 1:35 AM.
Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was stopped for running a stop sign while driving a Chevrolet van. The subject was found to have three outstanding outside agency arrest warrants for traffic violations.
100 West 6th Street
Occurred on 03-12-06 at 3:00 AM.
Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was found staggering near the busy roadway. When asked for his identification card, the subject handed the officer a debit card. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself and others.
200 West 21st Street
Occurred on 03-11-06 at 3:30 AM.
Public Intoxication / Criminal Trespass Warning: A non-UT subject was found sitting on a retention wall next to a damaged trick bike. The subject stated he wrecked his bicycle while performing tricks on the sidewalk. When asked for identification, the subject suggested the officer guess that information. After further request for identification, the subject handed the officer a credit card and then another credit card upon the third request for identification. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself. In addition to other law enforcement action taken, the subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
400 East 24th Street
Occurred on 03-10-06 at 6:26 PM.
Disorderly Conduct (language) / Assault by Threat: A UT police officer overheard a non- UT subject yelling profanities. The investigation revealed the non-UT subject had entered a UT shuttle bus and asked the driver for the bus route. When advised the bus did not go to where the subject wanted to go, the subject became upset and ordered the driver to take him to his destination. The driver ordered the subject off of the bus. After exiting the bus, the subject placed his arm in the path of the closing bus doors. When the driver opened the doors, the subject re-entered the bus and went to within a foot of the driver and asked if she wanted him to hit her and began to refer to the driver with words of an obscene nature.
Occurred at various times.
Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 21 alarm calls, 9 request for assistance, 1 motor vehicle collision, 2 welfare concern reports, 4 medical emergency reports, 6 unsecured doors, 1 light survey and 5 suspicious activity reports between 03-10-06 and 03-13-06.
