Public Intoxication / Criminal Trespass Warning: A non-UT subject was found staggering in circles while on an elevated platform located on the west side of the dormitory. The subject stated he was waiting for a girl, but could not state the girls name or provide information as to where she lived. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself and others.
Robert Lee Moore Hall, 2515 Speedway
Occurred on 03-16-06 between 7:30 PM and 8:45 PM.
Theft / Possession of a Counterfeit Document / Assist Outside Agency: A wallet containing approximately $50.00 in cash and various credit and identification cards was stolen form a purse located inside an unsecured 3rd floor office. The victim suspected a fellow UT staff member of committing the theft. While interviewing the suspected staff member, officers observed a counterfeit $50.00 bill on the suspects desk as well as several other items including two text books, 11 calculators, social security cards issued to two different people, an ATM card and a car payment bill belonging to another. The subject was found to have three outstanding outside agency arrest warrants for traffic violations and a possible outstanding outside agency arrest warrant for theft.

Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was found jumping in front of on-coming traffic. The subject claimed to be a death merchant who lied and stole. The subject was correct when he stated he deserved to be arrested, as he was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself and others.

Driving While Intoxicated / Open Container in a Vehicle: A UT student was stopped for speeding and running two stop signs while driving a green Ford Mustang. The student was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was driving while intoxicated. An open bottle of liquor was found on the floorboard behind the drivers seat.

Driving While Intoxicated: A UT student was stopped after cutting donuts in the middle of the road while driving a grey Lexus 2-door. The creation of said donuts caused the vehicles tires to smoke. The student was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was driving while intoxicated.

Criminal Mischief: The pole to a parking meter was cut at its base and was found lying on the sidewalk. The fallen meter did not appear to have been burglarized. Repair cost: $100.00.

Driving While Intoxicated / Public Intoxication / Possession of More Than One Driver License: A non-UT subject, who was under the age of 21, was observed driving a red Chevrolet pick-up truck at a very slow rate of speed. While driving, a second non-UT subject ran towards the truck and physically collided with the rear of the truck. The driver of the truck stated he was in the area to pick-up his friends, as they were too drunk. The driver of the truck was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was driving while intoxicated. The driver was also found to be in possession of anothers driver license. The runner with the depth perception issues, was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.

Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 9 alarm calls, 1 light survey, 2 medical emergency reports, 1 unsecured door and 3 suspicious activity reports between 03-17-06 and 03-18-06.
