Crime Prevention Tip:
As we can see in this case thieves move fast with "HOT" property. Because is a timing game. How much time do they have before you cancel the credit card? How much money are they going to be able to obtain? How many new things are they going to get? What is more important to you is that it is a timing game. How much damage will there be to your bank account? How much damage will there be to your credit and how long will it take to repair that damage? To avoid theses issues limit the number of credit cards you carry to one.
Occurred at various times.
Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 9 alarm calls, 2 suspicious activity reports, 7 unsecured door reports, and 2 requests for public assistance between 04-17-06 and 04-18-06.
CRIME PREVENTION TIP OF THE DAY:
As we have read into day's issue of the Campus Watch there is a high demand for wallets and credit cards on this campus. KLBJ AM 590 and Fox 7 News have even spotlighted the problems at Gregory Gym and other campus location in an attempt to enlighten, inform, educate and prevent additional victimization of our community. Pass The Word. Let's put the thieves on the endangered species list.
