Belmont Hall, 2109 San Jacinto

Occurred on 4-20-06 at 10:30 PM.

Deadly Conduct: A UT student reported a male subject throwing two 5 gallon buckets of paint thinner off the 10th level. The student stated that one bucket came close to hitting a female walking by. Upon arrival, UTPD officers located two UT students on that level. Both denied throwing anything off the ramps.

Ernest Cockrell, Jr. Hall, 301 East Dean Keeton

Occurred between 4-17-06 10:30 PM and 4-18-06 at 10:00 AM.

Theft: A UT student reported a theft of $50.00 from a secured 1st floor office. The money had been left inside an unsecured desk. Loss value: $50.00.

Wooldridge Hall, 600 West 24th Street

Occurred on 4-21-06.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was discovered sleeping next to the south doors of the building. During the investigation, it was determined that the subject was not enrolled as a student, nor employed by the University. In addition to other law enforcement action the subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning and escorted from the area.

100 Block 21st Street

Occurred on 4-21-06 at 2:35 AM.

Public Intoxication: A UT student reported that his room mate was hallucinating and talking "creepy." Officers located the subject on the northwest side of Jester Dormitory and when he saw the police he ran up to them asking them if he was dead. Officers confirmed that he was very much alive. During the investigation, the subject admitted to officers that he had ingested 4 grams of "shrooms." The subject again asked the officer if he were dead and wanted the officer to check his pulse to ensure that he indeed was alive. Austin EMS arrived at the scene and transported the subject to a local area hospital.

Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 7 alarm calls, 2 suspicious activity reports, 2 medical emergency calls, 2 unsecured door reports between 04-20-06 and 04-21-06.
