Campus Watch

Sign-up for this often light hearted look at the types of crimes observed and handled by The University of Texas at Austin Police Department. After signing up for this free e-mail service, you will receive daily updates that highlight the crimes reported to and observed by UT Police Officers. This nationally recognized and award winning program will keep you informed of the most up-to-date information regarding campus crime. In addition, the authors throw in free crime prevention tips so you know how to keep these crimes from happening to you or someone you know. This half-hour program focuses on the most common crimes seen on the UT Campus like thefts. The program also addresses methods to help maintain one’s personal safety while on campus.

New Student’s Optional One-Hour Basic Campus Safety and Crime Prevention Program

This highly recommended optional program is geared toward addressing the safety and security concerns of new students. During this optional program, new students will learn about common campus crimes and how to prevent them. New Students will also be introduced to basic defensive techniques to help keep them safe during their academic careers.
