CHAPTER 4 - STUDENTS

Sec. 4.01. Fellowship and Scholarship Appointment Forms

Authority for final approval of fellowship and scholarship appointment forms rests either with the academic deans or with the Director of Student Financial Aid, depending on the originating office. The following delegation of authority to approve such appointments is made

1. For all students in the Graduate School, regardless of the initiating office, to the Dean of Graduate Studies.

2. For other graduate students to the dean of their respective schools.

3. For undergraduates and graduate students when the appointments are handled by the Office of Student Financial Aid, to the director of that office.

4. For undergraduates when the appointments are initiated by departmental or research offices, to the undergraduate deans of the students being appointed.

5. For postdoctorals, to the dean of the academic college in which the individual will be working.
