Sec. 5.03. Reprints of Articles Published by Staff Members

A long-standing University policy limits the purchase of reprints of articles published by staff members.

Payments from departmental maintenance and operating appropriations may be made for not more than 100 copies, subject to the approval of the department chairman and the availability of funds. Where additional copies are needed, payments should be made by the individual concerned.

This will not prevent more than 100 reprints being paid for from research projects where there is specific funding for reports, publications, reprints, etc.
