CHAPTER 9

PERSONNEL - CLASSIFIED

Sec. 9.19. General Policy

It is the policy of The University to maintain for all classified positions, regardless of the source of funds, salary schedules and policies which assure uniform treatment of comparable positions; afford opportunity for recognition of quality of work, continued good service, and outstanding performance; give fair recognition to the individual requirements of employees; and take full account of the pay practices applicable to comparable positions in public and private employment, as well as general economic conditions affecting salary policy.
