Subject: REPORTING CASH SHORTAGES, OVERAGES AND LOSSES

Cash shortages or overages of $25.00 or more should be reported to the Office of Internal Audits immediately upon determination that a shortage or overage exists.

Cash losses involving theft or burglary should be reported to the University Police and The Office of Internal Audits immediately upon detection. The cash storage facility and the premises surrounding the facility should not be disturbed in any way until the University police have completed their investigation.
