CHAPTER 6. UNIVERSITY FACILITIES AND SERVICES

The Office of Institutional Studies maintains statistical information which forms the basis for official University reports to the Coordinating Board for Higher Education, the University of Texas System, the U.S. Office of Education, and other state and federal agencies.

- 1. Standard Institutional Reports. All standard institutional reports originating from these data shall be transmitted by the Office of Institutional Studies through the Office of the President, or, by prior approval of that office, directly to the agency concerned.
- 2. Special Institutional Reports. All special requests for statistical reports by the Office of Institutional Studies which are received from agencies external to The University of Texas at Austin shall be submitted to the Office of the President for review and approval. If approval is given, the report shall be transmitted through the Office of the President.
- 3. Special Requests for Statistical Information. The Office of Institutional Studies may provide common available statistical information to any department chairman, dean or other administrative official upon request. Requests from individual members of the faculty or staff shall be forwarded through the department chairman or corresponding administrative office to the President for review and approval.
- In those cases where special data studies or non-routine information are sought, the requests shall be forwarded through the Office of the President for review and approval.
