Presidential Citation
The Presidential Citation program was established to recognize the extraordinary contributions of individuals who personify the Universitys commitment to the task of transforming lives. The University does not award honorary degrees, and these citations are designed to salute persons whose service exemplifies the values shared by the University community. The Presidential Citation honors those who have brought great distinction to the University and helped the institution to achieve its mission. Nomination Process Nominations are sought each spring by the Presidential Citation Nominating Committee. The President has appointed the individuals named below to serve as members of the committee to solicit and review nominations. The Committee may recommend up to three candidates for this honor. The identification of appropriate candidates is important to the President, and your participation is invited. 2008 Presidential Citation Nominating Committee Professor Richard R.
