On January 29-30, 2004 the University of Texas at Austin hosted a summit and symposium exploring new ideas to prepare students for a diverse world, fifty years after Brown v. Board of Education.
The summit provided an opportunity for delegates from multiple unversities to participate in panels, allowing them to explore practical paths for needed educational advances, as well as address political, social, and economic issues that educational institutions face as they promote diversity.
This site contains program materials and action items recommended by the panels of the 2004 summit.
