Aristotle said, “Well begun is half done.” Our Campaign for Texas was well begun indeed, and I’m delighted to announce that with your help and commitment we now are more than half done. The campaign is an important step in our goal to become the best public research university in the nation, and you have responded enthusiastically, contributing more than $1.7 billion toward our $3 billion goal.
I want to share with you an impressive new video that celebrates the immense impact the campaign is already having on our students, faculty, and campus. It also celebrates your generosity. The Campaign for Texas is no ordinary fundraising effort. It will transform this institution’s quality, competitiveness, and impact. The University will look different after the Campaign for Texas.
