The Daily Living Project is looking for families to participate in a study of family problem solving at The University of Texas at Austin. Participation in this study will entail coming to campus and completing a series of activities such as building a block tower, doing a water balloon toss, and solving riddles. You will also be asked to complete a few short questionnaires. In total it will take less than one hour of your time, and each family will be compensated with $40 in gift certificates and a t-shirt for every member of the family.

To be eligible to participate in the study, your family must:
- Have a child or children between the ages of 3 and 12 years old (all children in the family must be in this age range).
- All members of the family must be present (evening and weekend sessions are available).
- All children need to be the biological or adopted children of both participating adult partners.
- All participants must be fluent in English.

Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to have fun with your family!

Relationships are hard enough, but adding parenting to the equation makes them even more challenging. Why that is, and what we can do about it, is a little bit less clear. The goal of this study is to examine the relation between parenting and the parents’ relationship, and hopefully find ways to improve individual’s satisfaction with both. The first piece of this study is a 15 minute online survey for parents with at least one child under the age of 15 living at home.

The goal of this research project is to understand how couples navigate the transition to parenthood and how both the individual and the couple change during the transition to being a parent. Specifically, we examine the roles, daily activities, health behaviors, and the support processes in couples both before and after they bring their first child home.
