The Project on Educator Effectiveness and Quality is an initiative of the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs’ Center for Health and Social Policy at the University of Texas at Austin.
Bridging Education Policy and Education Research for Real World Application
To enhance student learning, federal and state policymakers are focusing more and more of their attention on improving educator effectiveness and quality. However, too often there is a significant gap between education policy and real world application of that policy. The Project on Educator Effectiveness and Quality works directly with state education agencies, local education agencies, and other organizations to provide realistic solutions that meet the goals of policymakers.
