| Mrs. Miles is delighted to be working at the U.T. Elementary School . This is her 9th year teaching. She has taught in Austin I.S.D and Pflugerville I.S.D. This will be her 6 th year to teach 2 nd grade. She has previously taught first grade.
She is a native of Austin and a graduate of Huston-Tillotson University . She is married and has three daughters. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends. She has extended family in Graysville , Alabama (west of Birmingham ) and travels to see them as often as she can. She considers Alabama her second home.
She doesn't consider teaching a job - it is her passion!!! She loves to inspire young minds and help them to become life long learners. She believes that learning should be fun and strives to make it as fun as possible.
