| Hello, my name is Laila Wakim. I teach third grade at UT Elementary School. This is my fifth year of teaching. I have taught both third and fifth grade before. I graduated from The University of Texas with a degree in Applied Learning and Development, and a minor in Business Administration. I also just finished my master degree in Multicultural Special Education at UT.
I was born and raised in Austin. In my spare time you can find me spending time with my family and friends, shopping, or trying new foods at the restaurants around town. I also enjoy traveling with my family to Lebanon where I spend time with my aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends during the summer. I am a fluent Arabic speaker and love to share my culture with anyone who is interested. |
