INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ADVISORY COMMITTEE

COMMITTEE CHARGE

The Information Technology Advisory Committee (ITAC) is to:

  1. Advise the Provost on the policies, priorities and strategies to be followed to maximize the uses of tuition-generated Information Technology funds to enhance the academic instructional programs at The University;
  2. Consider the VISION Plans for academic instructional technology services and underlying information technology infrastructure, prepared annually by the schools, colleges, and central service units;
  3. Review and assess central infrastructure and support services for academic instructional programs;
  4. Advise the Provost regarding the level and allocation of tuition-generated Information Technology income;
  5. Audit prior year uses of the Information Technology funds to verify that expenditures support the approved goals and objectives; and
  6. Undertake such other tasks as may be requested by the Provost.
