* While those academic programs that have already developed Program Educational Objectives,
Program Outcomes, and Assessment Plans should have little difficulty meeting these deadlines,
others who are just formulating theirs may take significantly longer. This is to be expected,
and it is more important to develop these objectives, outcomes, and plans carefully and
thoughtfully than to rush them. However, it is also important that continuous, steady progress
be made toward developing and implementing outcomes-based assessment.
