The Chemistry Research Instrumentation and Facilities Program (CRIF) is structured to enable the National Science Foundation’s Division of Chemistry to respond to a variety of needs for infrastructure that promotes research and education in areas traditionally supported by the Division.
The Department Multi-User Instrumentation component of CRIF (CRIF:MU) provides funds to universities, colleges, and consortia thereof for the purchase of multi-user instruments.
The maximum request is $500,000 for instrumentation. Additional funds may be requested for personnel who are needed to support cyber-enhanced projects.
