(This is broadly interpreted as encompassing all basic and applied research, science, and technology supported by the U.S. Department of Energy and its programs.) The Fermi Award is given for a lifetime of achievement.” |

The nominee selected to represent UT Austin must provide at least three but no more than six letters of support. When a nominee has been identified by VPR, this office will secure the President's letter of nomination.
