Presentation Topics

We present 3- or 6-hour workshops under the title of "Neurobiology of Addiction: Simplified" to sponsoring organizations upon request. Call the Director for details.

The difference between the workshops lies in more audience interaction with the speaker in the longer workshop. Audience members in the longer workshop are expected to be involved in discussions and interactive exercises.

The above workshops are also offered under the following titles:

  • "Exploding Drug Myths"
  • "The Problem is Not in the Bottle, It's in the Brain"

For these workshops, there will be a fee and expense coverage for the speaker. Fees vary with the speaker and qualifications of the sponsoring organization. Our speakers are also available to cover any topic involving basic pharmacology of alcohol and other drugs, the pharmacological and dependence-producing actions of drugs, therapy of psychiatric disorders, or co-occurring disorders. Call for details.
