Order Raphidioptera
This order is primarily Holarctic with a few species in Mexico. In North America they are confined to the area west of the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains. There are two families in the United States, one of which is found in Texas. The other, Inocelliidae, is present in the Pacific Northwest.
