The Communication in Adults Research Group (CARG) is
a consortium of three research labs involved in different aspects of communication
in aging populations or individuals with neurological communication disorders.
CARG is located at the Lake Austin Centre and is under the auspices of
the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at The University
of Texas at Austin. |

Mission Statement
The common goals of this group are to:

Increase knowledge of various aspects of communication in
normal aging, aphasia and Alzheimer's disease. SEE_EVENTS_SCHEDULE

Involve normal elderly individuals in various research experiments
pertaining to aging.

Facilitate interdisciplinary and inter- institutional collaboration
in adult normal and disordered communication research.

research information about current diagnostic and treatment issues
