The Center for Electromagnetic Materials and Devices (CEMD), is an interdisciplinary effort involving investigators from several academic departments and research centers at The University of Texas at Austin.
Under the direction of Professor Rodger Walser, we conduct leading-edge research to meet the needs of our sponsors in electromagnetics-related areas.
Research in the center encompasses a wide variety of fields, including power electronics, integrated microwave and magnetic sensors, microwave devices, electromagnetic materials measurements technology, electromagnetic coatings and composites, integrated electromagnetics, electromagnetic analysis and simulation, MetaFerrite antenna loadsNegative Index Media and MetaMaterials.
