Beginning on December 1, 2012 anyone parking at PRC will be expected to display a valid UT permit (valid for the hours the vehicle is actually parked), a departmental dashboard, or a daily permit issued from one of the new pay and display kiosks located on the PRC campus. Regardless of the permit used parking will be regulated by signage and dashboards and pay and display permits will be valid in spaces marked ANY UT PERMIT. Pay and display permits will be valid across the PRC campus for the period listed on the permit. This will allow people to move about the campus if needed during the course of their stay. Pay and display permits issued for/at PRC are only valid at PRC. Maps outlining the pay and display locations are included below. These machines will enable your visitors and those without permits the ability to purchase a daily permit to park on the PRC campus. For visitors to purchase their own daily parking, they will need to visit one of the pay and display machines on campus. The flat fee for one day of parking from the pay and display kiosks at WPR or PRC will be $3. Kiosks that allow for drive up payment prior to parking will be available at both PRC and WPR. After making payment a permit will be issued from the kiosk and your guests should display these on their windshield. The machines and methodology of display will be very similar to the city of Austin meters and so the operations should be familiar to many your users. Two walk up payment kiosks will also be located at PRC. For visitors using the walk up kiosks they must pay and obtain the permit and then make sure they display the permit in their vehicle before proceeding with their visit to the PRC campus.
Here is the map for the PRC campus showing the location of the pay and display machines:
