3/2/2010 – Christopher King Presents at Hiroshima University

Ray Marshall Center Director Christopher King is presenting on March 2nd at Hiroshima University’s Department of Economics about sectoral workforce development strategies as an effective U.S. labor market policy. On March 4th, he will present at the IDEC Asia Seminar on how the Central Texas Student Futures Project promotes postsecondary success through regional university partnerships. While in Japan, Dr. King will also meet with labor market policy officials and program staff as part of his research on comparative labor market policies. This research will be used in a chapter he is completing for a forthcoming volume with colleagues at the International Labor Office in Geneva.
