Purpose: The NSCAW workgroup includes researchers interested in using the National Study on Child and Adolescent Well-Being for secondary data analysis on topics related to child welfare.

Adolescent pregnancy Workgroup
Coordinator: Dr. Monica Faulkner
Members: Dr. Carol Lewis, Megan Scarborough, Dr. Cynthia Franklin
Purpose: The adolescent pregnancy workgroup includes researchers with experience conducting program evaluations related to pregnant and parenting teens. Additionally, researchers have experience and continued interest in conducting and producing manuscripts related to adolescent pregnancy.
Latino Families Research Workgroup

Members: Dr. Yolanda Padilla; Dr. Jodi Berger Cardoso; Megan Scarborough
Purpose: The Latino Research Group is a collaboration of researchers interested in conducting research to promote a better understanding of Latino children and families. The purpose of the group is to support researchers by providing feedback, facilitate the sharing of information related to research on Latinos and provide opportunities for networking between researchers.
Adolescent Substance Use Workgroup
Coordinator: Dr. Holleran
Members: David Springer, Sanna Thompson, Pam Malone, Barbara Jones
Purpose: This workgroup includes researchers with experience and a continued interested in conducting research related to adolescent substance use issues.
Child Welfare Research Collaboration
The child welfare research collaboration is a special project of CFRI designed to foster ongoing communication and connection between child welfare researchers located in various settings in the Austin area. The goal of the collaboration is to bring together researchers with professional experience working in child welfare settings to help translate research for practice and policy purposes.
