The Protection Connection
Since 1993, the Institute has published a quarterly newsletter for DFPS staff linking research, practice, and training. Until 1998, the newsletter was titled the Child Protection Connection. In 1998, with the expansion of the Institute's services, it became the Protection Connection.
Issues from our first 10 years are available at the bottom of this page in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format. To get the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, visit Adobe's site.
Starting with Volume 11, Issue 2, the newsletter is available only to DFPS staff as an online learning activity. To view these online issues, DFPS staff should go to the DFPS intranet; click on the purple "Training" tab near the top of the page and select "eTrain" from the expanded menu; then, on the "Welcome to eTrain" page, click on the PSTI button along the left side of the page and select "Protection Connection" from the expanded menu.
