Sharing Results with Employees
Sharing the survey results with employees and including them in the strategic plan is critical to successfully strengthening the organization. Employees do not expect that every issue be addressed, but they do expect for management to follow up on some of the problems. For detailed examples, watch the "Best Practices" videos from Forum 2001.

Results can be released in several settings. Organization meetings, departmental meetings, and employee training programs are the most common. You may consider releasing the results in a newsletter or via e-mail.  The Executive  Summary is idea to release to the Employees because it contains graphical representations of the data and does not overwhelm them with details. Excel data files are also provided to put the data into a form that might be more meaningful to your specific needs.
The amount of data to release is a decision for the organization to make. The act of releasing data is the most critical step. Traditionally, survey results were rarely released to the employees, and today, employees feel skeptical about the opportunity to review the results. Once the results are released, the skepticism fades, and employees become more interested in the improvements that are to be made than in the detail of the results.
