The Survey Administration Options form arrives in the Liaison's packet. It requests that options be chosen for the distribution date, data collection period, and the survey format. If the on-line/hard copy version is selected, this requires selection of a return envelope option, the organization's delivery address and any special sorting required for delivery of the survey packets. There is an optional offering of training on the survey process, usually scheduled in the late summer. The liaison reviews the survey instructions for both formats in preparation for assisting employees. The organization's cover letter is developed or, if a past survey participant, revised. Organizational categories and additional items are finalized and become part of the cover letter or are added as a survey insert. The electronic employee list is developed to support the survey format chosen and forwarded to the Survey Office. It is strongly suggested that the Executive Director notify employees of the pending survey to begin engagement in the process. This brings us to Administration. |
