Judy Briscoe
Judy Briscoe served the
State of Texas from 1969 to 2000, when she retired from her position as
the Assistant Deputy Executive Director of Juvenile Corrections at the
Texas Youth Commission. During
her tenure with the state, Ms. Briscoe served in various positions for
state agencies such as the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, the
Texas Youth Council, and the Texas Department of Mental Health and
Mental Retardation. She is currently teaching at The University of Texas at
Austin. Ms. Briscoe has a
Master of Science in Criminal Justice Management from Sam Houston State
University. She has
published numerous articles related to youth and criminal justice.
